Are you a chocolate lover like me? I can't resist chocolate! <3 My family loves this Ultimate Brownie Recipe and I can't wait for you to bake up a batch and share it with your family as well! <3 Let's get this going... :D
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces of Bittersweet or Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped/broken roughly (I LOVE Ghiradelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar as well as Baker's Semi-Sweet All Purpose Baking Chocolate.)
2 sticks of Unsalted Butter (1/2 pound)
1 cup of Granulated Sugar
1 cup of Dark Brown Sugar
4 large Eggs
2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
1 cup of All Purpose Flour
1 cup of chopped Nuts (Walnuts or Pecans are always wonderful)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
Grease pan (13x9x2) with butter or non-stick cooking spray
Place the butter in a medium microwave safe bowl until it is bubbling
Add the chocolate to the butter and whisk the chocolate in until it is completely melted. The heat from the butter should be enough to melt all of the chocolate, but if not, microwave for about twenty seconds or so then whisk again
Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. Add the granulated and dark brown sugars and the vanilla extract, whisk until smooth
Whisk in the chocolate-butter mixture.
Add the flour to the mixture making sure there are no lumps
Pour in your preference of walnut or pecans (only if desired). Mix in well
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly
Bake for about 45 minutes, until the top has formed a shiny crust and the batter is moderately firm
Cool completely
Cut, serve and enjoy :P
This is a perfect recipe year round and around any holiday & birthday occasion as well!
